This is a bug that has a somewhat easy work around, that works quite often, it should be fixed very soon, and I will post this here, as a sticky to help explain.
Right click in the DivX player, and then click on prefrences. In the general tab, you will want to set the "downloaded video folder" to C:\v\ This should solve all your problems. (the actual drive letter, and letter for the folder you want to use, does not matter, so pick the one you would want) Head of Bug Reporting Deacon EDIT2: Jesse: After opening up the DivX preferences, and setting the downloaded videos folder to C:/V/ and ALL videos worked. You can even keep your cache enabled by doing this. Probably a good Idea to try this first to be honest. Edit3: Please insure you are using the most up-to-date version of the DivX Webplayer, located here.

You don't have to disable the auto save. You just need to disable the download cache. I didn't have the auto save on at first and when I got the error I turned it on. After reading this I decided to just try turning off the cache and it worked.
