Default DivX player could not write the video file to disk

This is a bug that has a somewhat easy work around, that works quite often, it should be fixed very soon, and I will post this here, as a sticky to help explain.

Right click in the DivX player, and then click on prefrences.
In the general tab, you will want to set the "downloaded video folder" to C:\v\
This should solve all your problems.

(the actual drive letter, and letter for the folder you want to use, does not matter, so pick the one you would want)

EDIT2: Jesse: After opening up the DivX preferences, and setting the downloaded videos folder to C:/V/ and ALL videos worked. You can even keep your cache enabled by doing this. Probably a good Idea to try this first to be honest.

Edit3: Please insure you are using the most up-to-date version of the DivX Webplayer, located here.

You don't have to disable the auto save. You just need to disable the download cache. I didn't have the auto save on at first and when I got the error I turned it on. After reading this I decided to just try turning off the cache and it worked.
